Proper websites for local businesses, without the agency price tag.

I build fast, good-looking websites for barbers, salons, tradespeople, restaurants, startups, and everything in between. The sort of site that gets found on a phone, in a hurry.

Seven designs, seven different trades

Have a scroll through any of these on your phone. Each one is a full working site. Menus, prices, opening hours, booking forms, the lot.

A quick note on these: they're demo concepts I've built to show what's possible, not real businesses. Your site would be designed around your own name, photos, services and prices. I'm happy to go in a completely different direction if none of these are your style.

About me

Hi, I'm Navee

I've spent the last ten years working in IT, mostly on helpdesk support, though it has stretched into infrastructure work and bigger projects along the way, including migrating systems from one platform to another. Fixing things people rely on, usually while they're standing over your shoulder waiting.

I started doing this because of how many good businesses near me are effectively invisible. Barbers with a queue out of the door, tradespeople everyone recommends, places that have been going twenty years. If you search for them online, there's nothing there. Someone looking for exactly what they do finds a competitor instead, and they never know it happened.

So the idea is simple. Do a proper job for a price a small business can actually justify, and be around afterwards when something needs changing.

1
You deal with me, start to finish No account managers, no ticket numbers, nobody handing you over to someone else. The person who builds it is the person who answers the phone.
2
Changes go through one person Text me your new prices or opening hours and it's done, usually the same day. You won't be raising a request and waiting a week.
3
Nothing is locked to me Your domain is in your name and your site is ordinary web files. If you ever wanted to move on, you could hand it to any developer and they'd pick it straight up.
What you get

Everything, and nothing you don't need

No page builders, no plugin subscriptions, no upsells six months down the line.

Works on every phone

Built mobile-first, because that's where nearly all of your customers will find you. Tested properly, not just shrunk down.

Genuinely fast

Hand-built rather than assembled from templates, so pages load in under a second. Google cares about this, and so do customers.

Hosting & SSL sorted

The padlock, the backups and the renewals are all handled in the monthly fee. Nothing for you to remember or set up.

Set up to be found locally

Your area, services and opening hours marked up so you show up when someone nearby searches for what you do.

Changes are just a text away

Price gone up? New opening hours? Message me and it's done, usually the same day. It's covered by the monthly fee.

The domain stays yours

Registered in your name, not mine. If you ever want to go elsewhere, you take it with you. No arguments.

How it works

Three steps, about a week

1

A ten-minute chat

Tell me what you do, what you charge and when you're open. I'll show you a couple of directions and we'll pick one. No charge, no commitment.

2

I build it

You'll see a working version within a few days, on a real link you can open on your phone and send to whoever you like for a second opinion.

3

We go live

Once you're happy, I sort the domain, hosting and the padlock, and put you live. Then it's £25 a month and I look after it.

Pricing

One price, no surprises

I'm just getting started, so I'm keeping this simple and cheap while I build up a portfolio. The price we agree is the price you pay.

Ten years working in IT for small and large businesses before this, so the hosting, domains and technical side are the parts I'm least worried about.

Common questions

Things people ask before saying yes

If yours isn't here, ring me and ask. I'd rather answer it now than have you wondering.

That price seems very low. What's the catch?

There isn't one, but it's a fair question. I'm early on and I need a portfolio of real businesses more than I need to make much per site, so I've priced it at what I'd want to pay in your position.

The honest trade is that you're not getting a large agency with a project manager and a phased rollout. You're getting one person who will build you a genuinely good site in about a week. For most local businesses that's the better deal anyway.

What happens if I want to stop paying the £25 a month?

You tell me and it stops. There's no contract, no notice period and no exit fee.

Your domain is registered in your name, so that stays yours regardless. If you want to keep the site running elsewhere I'll hand over all the files, and you or anyone you hire can host it somewhere else. I'd rather you left easily than felt trapped.

Do I actually own the website?

Yes. The domain goes in your name from the start, not mine, and the site itself is yours. I'm the technical contact so I can look after the boring parts, but you're the owner and you can take it with you.

I've already got a Facebook page. Do I need a website as well?

A Facebook page is genuinely useful and I wouldn't tell you to drop it. But it does a different job. People who already know you will find you on Facebook. People who don't know you exist are typing "barber near me" into Google, and that's where a website picks them up.

There's also the trust side. Plenty of people will look for a website before booking something they're paying real money for, and not having one quietly costs you those customers without you ever hearing about it.

I don't have any decent photos of my business.

Most people don't, and it's not a problem. I can use good stock photography that suits your trade to get you live, and it'll look far better than you'd expect.

That said, real photos of your actual place always win. If you're up for it I'm happy to come and take some on my phone while we're talking, at no extra cost. Even a few decent shots of the inside make a noticeable difference.

I'm not technical. Is there anything I'll have to manage?

Nothing at all. You don't need to log into anything, remember any passwords or install anything. There's no dashboard for you to learn.

When something needs changing you send me a text or an email and I do it. That's the whole system, and it's deliberately that way.

How long does it take?

About a week from the point I've got your details. You'll see a working version on a real link within a few days, so you can look at it on your phone and send it to whoever you want a second opinion from before it goes live.

When do I pay?

Nothing upfront. You pay the build cost once the site is finished and you're happy with it, and the monthly fee starts from the month after you go live.

If you look at what I've built and decide it isn't for you, you don't owe me anything.

You're one person. What happens if you get too busy, or stop doing this?

The most sensible question on this list, and the honest answer is that I've set things up so you're not stuck if it happened.

Your domain is in your name. Your site is built from ordinary web files rather than some system only I understand, so any web developer could take it over without needing to start again. And if I ever couldn't continue, I'd hand you everything: the files, the hosting login and the domain, so you could carry on with someone else.

Will this get me to the top of Google?

I'm not going to promise that, because anyone who does is guessing. What I can tell you is that your site will be built properly for local search, with your area, services and opening hours set out the way Google expects to find them.

The other half of it is your Google Business Profile, which is free and matters just as much as the website. I'll help you get that sorted at the same time. Ranking builds over months, not days.
